Radar and Schrute (Our personal fur babies) A.K.A.: Mr. Dar and Swooters

Meet our two babies Radar and Schrute! David found Radar living under a dumpster when he was barely 3 months old in 2012. He was skittish, scared and skin and bones. They have been inseparable ever since! Radar is a Shepherd Mix/Heinz 57. He is very protective, loving, silly, and loves to play catch with his MILLIONS of toys (SPOILED!). After moving in with each other in 2018, Olivia and David decided it was time for Radar to have a little brother! A few days later, Olivia was scrolling through the NextDoor app and stumbled upon a post about a struggling, emaciated, and sad pup that needed a forever home. IT WAS FATE! When they rescued Schrute (fans of The Office will get the name choice), he was 30 pounds, severely underweight and terrified of everything! Fast forward to now and he’s a healthy 60 pounds and living his best life! Schrute is super cuddly, very protective of his older brother, and LOVES his toy hideout under his parents bed. These two have been best buds since the day they met!

Sophia and Chloe A.K.A.: Princess Sophie and CloClo

Our longest family members, we first met Sophia and Chloe way back in 2017! Sophia is a sassy little Chihuahua with a personality as big as the Milky Way! She loves to bark, hang out with her boyfriend next door while sunbathing, and has an extremely forward thinking sense of style! Chloe is one of the sweetest, most loving cats we have ever encountered (some might say she’s more dog than cat)! She loves her scratches, pets and demands more attention than her sister at times!

Bailey and Jackson A.K.A.: Bailey Beluga and Jackwagon/JackJack

We first met Bailey and Jackson in 2017. Bailey is an Australian Shepherd Mix that is full of personality, love and sass! Jackson is a Shepherd Mix who is extremely shy, sweet and loving. Jackson is one of our biggest success stories. When we first met, he was extremely skittish, shy and suffered major anxiety. But now Mr. Jackson has fully come out of his shell with us! He’s full of cuddles, love and boy does he love his walkies!

Gracie A.K.A.: Gracie Pants

Meet Gracie! She is a beautiful Lab Mix and is David and Olivia’s niece! Olivia’s brother recently rescued Gracie from an anxiety filled home. When we first met, Gracie was extremely skittish. Oddly enough she took to David first as she prefers men, however through hard work, dedication, and lots of treats and love Olivia has supplanted David as Gracie’s favorite human! (Outside of her dad of course!). Gracie loves to go on adventures with her furry friends, enjoys the dog park and has a major obsession with peanut butter!

Frosty A.K.A.: Frost Man

A truly wonderful dog, Frosty was David’s Grandfather’s pup until his passing in 2014. Frosty then became David’s Aunt’s pup. Frost was an American Eskimo Dog with a calm, loving and cuddly demeanor. He was one of the easiest clients we have ever cared for and it was an absolute pleasure seeing his smiling face each time. He loved to eat in the kitchen (just like his humans) and never left his owner’s side. Unfortunately we lost Frost Man in mid 2021 due to old age and boy, is he surely missed. He was a one of a kind pup that could never be replaced. But the good thing is, he’s back home with his PopPop and enjoying all the loving, treats and snuggles in heaven! Rest in Peace, Frosty! The Pooch and Pal Family misses you just as much as your owners do!

Lucy A.K.A.: LuLu and Lucy Goosey

Next up we have the wonderful Lucy! A family member since October 2020, Lucy always brightens our day. She is a Husky with a super loving and playful personality. When she was a young pup, she was hit by a car and unfortunately had to have her back right leg amputated. That has not slowed her down at all though. As we like to say: “She get’s around better on three legs than most dogs do with all four!”. She is truly an inspiration for anyone. She doesn’t let anything slow her down and is one of the most friendly pups in our family. Her daily walks often consist of tons of sniffing, saying hi to all her friends in the neighborhood (pups and humans) and just making our day so much better. Its truly an honor to be a part of this wonderful girl’s life!
